Garlic Confit Shrimp

The technique of preserving meat by slow cooking it in fat, or confit, is a time honored tradition. We just made this tradition even better by using shrimp instead of meat. Tender, succulent shrimp are cooked confit style in a savory blend of olive oil, fresh herbs and garlic. One taste and you'll never go back to boring shrimp cocktail. This entree is one adult serving.

Ingredients: shrimp, olive oil, canola oil, garlic, fresh oregano, black pepper.
